FEATURING:

Island Time on Motutapu is a chance to Eat, Drink and Dance in a unique and exclusive island setting this summer.

As part of the Summernova series of events and held at the historic Te Pēhi o Manawatere, Home Bay, on Te Motutapu a Taikehu, this new and exciting event presents the opportunity for locals and visitors of Tāmaki to eat, drink and dance on a unique island setting this summer.

Held over 2 days, Island Time ticket holders gain access to one of four Island Time sessions taking place on either SATURDAY, 27 MARCH 2021 or SUNDAY, 28 MARCH 2021.

As part of the partnership between Endeavour Live and Ngāi Tai Te Haerenga, portion of ticket sales will go towards the preservation of the island and it’s unique inhabitants (such as Takahē, Brown Kiwi, Tuturuatu, Tuturuwhatu, Kākāriki, Tīeke, Kawekaweau and many others). The official charity of Island Time on Motutapu is PROJECT KIWI.

The event also presents the opportunity for Aucklanders and visitors to gain a greater understanding of the island and its cultural significance for the region. Through the Ngāi Tai Tāmaki partnership, there will be the opportunity for event attendees to learn about the history of the island in a fun and engaging way.

The event is focused on delivering an economical and environmentally sustainable event for future generations to enjoy. Island Time on Motutapu is a collaboration between Endeavour Live and Ngāi Tai Te Haerenga, in association with Auckland Unlimited, and is proud to be part of Summernova.

ISLAND TIME ON MOTUTAPU RESCHEDULED FOR MARCH

With the recent change in COVID-19 Alert Levels in Auckland and the complex nature of this event, organisers have in consultation with Ngai Tai Ki Tamaki and DOC made the decision to reschedule Island Time on Motutapu from 27 & 28 February to Saturday, March 27 & Sunday, March 28 2021.

Hosting an event on Motutapu, one of the Hauraki Gulf’s oldest islands, requires an extra layer of biosecurity to protect one of our most precious toangas and its species, as well as infrastructure to get guests, vendors and suppliers safely to and from the site. As such, we’re making the cautious decision to postpone the event now and give our customers as much notice as possible.

All existing tickets are valid for the new dates, with ticketholders simply required to login to their Eventbrite account to obtain their updated tickets. For those who can not make the new dates, can apply for a refund via www.endeavour.live/refunds. You will have until 5 March to apply for the refund, after which refund requests will no longer be accepted.
